"Finally. That took long enough." Jake smiled as he stretched his hands.
[You have cleared the Raid: Ogre Settlement]
He looked behind him at Myriad Arrows, who was standing on top of a fallen ogre.
"Are you done? Time to leave now?" He shouted back.
Jake smiled and nodded. He crouched down and looked at the loot that the ogre chieftain dropped.
This was the first time that this raid was cleared, so that meant that the staff that the ogre chief was using would be dropped.
Jake picked up the wooden staff and took a closer look at it.
It was a little heavier than he expected, and it felt more like steel than wood, even as he held it.
[Blood Staff of Khandir
Epic Class Item

Special Skill: Use the blood of 100 Allies to create a Blood Field that gives you a 20% buff and gives your opponent a 10% debuff]
"Not bad." Jake nodded his head as he pocketed it quickly.
"What was that?" Suddenly, Myriad Arrows popped up beside him.
"Just your garden variety epic. So, time to go then?" Jake chuckled.
"Whatever. Did you get to level sixty, finally?"
"Finally? There are maybe a thousand tier three players in the entire world. And thats because they spent all their money getting the best equipment and grinding." Jake shook his head.
"Whatever. All I hear are excuses. You have a guild at your disposal and yet you only got to level sixty now." Myriad Arrows said.
"Are you done with your tier ascension yet?" Jake changed the topic.
"Not yet. I have to start preparing. I am still an epic class. It\'s going to take some time for me. Maybe a month to finish ascending? Ascension quests for the higher classes is a pain." Myriad Arrows shook his head.
"Wouldn\'t you know that." Jake smiled with an all knowing face.
How couldn\'t he know how much time it would take? After all, his first tier ascension took him a week, which was more than almost everyone else.
And the difficulty was definitely much higher than everyone else.
"Alright. Let the guild grind on its own. Everyone who is at level sixty will eventually split to go to their ascension quest." Jake said.
"Don\'t get ahead of yourself. We don\'t even have half of our members entering the second tier." Myriad Arrows shook his head.
"You forget that to enter the second tier, you have to pass the quest. That is the biggest barrier."
"I know. I know. I figured that if they can\'t pass the quest when they are level thirty, they should try and level up a little more to maybe level forty before they can try the quest." Jake shrugged.
"Yeah. It takes forever to level up until you ascend your tier. Sometimes I wonder how they are so useless. I thought that we got the best of the best to join our guild." Myriad Arrows rolled his eyes.
Both of them started walking toward the portal that opened up next to the dead ogre\'s body.
Jake paused for a second and opened his chats.
[Continue Grinding in the raid and try to collect the Names Sets that appear here]
He sent the message to all of the guild members in the current raid and then walked through the portal.
Behind him, Myriad Arrows followed as well, and the next second, they appeared in front of what seemed to be a bustling city.
They could see streets and people filling it from the elevation that they were on.
"Alright. I\'ll head to the tier ascension quest as fast as I can. I just have to make a quick pitstop before I do that." Jake said.
"Whatever. Don\'t forget to dump the items in the guild storage. We are running out of items, and you keep forgetting to replenish the supply." Myriad Arrows sighed and said.
"Yeah, yeah. Don\'t worry. I\'m headed to the guild headquarters anyways." Jake smiled and nodded.
"And by the way, where was Kierch today? We could have finished much quicker if he was here." Myriad Arrows asked.
"Oh him? Don\'t worry about him. He is out on his tier ascension quest." Jake smiled and said.
"Already? I thought that he had an epic class!" Myriad Arrows raised his eyebrows with shock.
"Yup. Anyways, best of luck on your ascension. If you need anything, just use the guild card." Jake said as he turned around and looked at the portal that they just came from.
"Diffast." He said.
Ten silver coins disappeared from his inventory, and the portal glowed blue.
"See you later." Jake said as he walked through the portal calmly.
