MMORPG: Crowd Control

Chapter 109 Tie Longkun

As Tie Longkun introduced himself, the most shocked person was naturally Lei Zhen.

Never did he expect his fellow co-worker was actually someone famous.

\'What are the coincidences?\' Lei Zhen thought, thinking it was too inconceivable.

ραпdα nᴏνa| сom If Tie Longkun was really famous as Griselda stated, then why the hell would he be working in the Magnolia Convenience Store if he could make a lot of money here.

While Lei Zhen was confused, he received a text message from Griselda, explaining who Tie Swordsman was.

And apparently, he was famous for his fierce attack and damage dealer, but he was extremely poor because he offended a lot of people due to his rash behavior.

No, it would be wrong to call it rash behavior given his personality was always making a move before thinking properly. His poor decision-making led him to lose a lot of money and reputation.

In other words, he was actually infamous for his conduct and playstyle.

"Seriously, this guy managed to lose 50 gold coins in one gamble bet?" Lei Zhen whispered to her and asked.

Griselda nodded her head.

"His deed had long spread into the Magnolia community and everyone avoided him like a plague since he\'s a loose cannon."

Lei Zhen twitched his mouth and cursed his bad luck to encounter him here.

To be foolish enough to gamble 50 gold coins and lose it all in one go, Tie Longkun had long surpassed the title of a fool.

Such a poor decision-making player was someone he would never want to interact with. Otherwise, he might lose a brain cell just by being close to them.

Just when Lei Zhen wanted to reject him, Tie Longkun started to kneel again.

"Please let me join your party. I work in a convenience store and haven\'t earned much lately. Besides, I wasted so many days traveling here for the war, but by the time I arrived, the war ended. Have some mercy on me." Tie Longkun pleaded.

Seeing his pathetic appearance, Lei Zhen twitched his mouth slightly.

Tie Longkun had an unassuming figure, with a gaunt face and piercing brown eyes. He was of average height and build, and his clothing was threadbare and worn, with patches and tears in the fabric.

He wore a simple suit of armor that had seen better days, with a number of dents and scratches that spoke to its age and abuse.

The armor was rusting in a number of places, and the swordsman had clearly done his best to repair it, with several makeshift patches and straps holding it together.

To top things off, Tie Longkun had a battered old sword at his side, its blade chipped and dull. The hilt was simple and unadorned, with no precious jewels or intricate designs.

Pathetic might be an overstatement at this point to describe Tie Longkun\'s current appearance.

\'No wonder why people avoid him like a plague. Even a beginner has a much better-looking item than him.\' Lei Zhen thought to himself, feeling vexed.

He didn\'t reply to Tie Longkun and instead turned toward Griselda, clearly asking for her opinion.

Despite him being his fellow co-worker, Lei Zhen truly didn\'t know much about him in Magnolia.

Hence, he shall leave this decision to Griselda.

\'You are really a good chancellor, leaving this pile of dirt for me to make.\' Griselda twitched her brows slightly.

With all eyes on her currently, Griselda began to ponder the pros and cons of accepting Tie Longkun.

If it were some random player, then she would have outright denied them and called it a day.

However, she had heard of his record-breaking for attaining the highest damage output from a boss and managed to maintain that status for quite a long time.

Both she and Lei Zhen weren\'t really damage dealers, so having Tie Longkun by their side would make things easier in subduing the black mage whose level and identity remained unknown to this day.

"Hmm, if I let you join, you won\'t receive many benefits. I\'ll be honest, the best you can get from us is a silver coin and that\'s it, but you must do a lot of tasks." Griselda said honestly.

"So are you still willing to join our party and work like a slave?" She added.

As much as she appreciated his damage output, this mission was originally planned to be done by her and Lei Zhen.

Including Tie Longkun to the party was already her giving him a leeway and an opportunity to witness the future of Magnolia.

"No problem, I\'m happy to even receive a silver coin." Tie Longkun readily agreed, much to the surprise of Griselda.

\'As expected of the poor decision-making player that everyone referred to.\' Griselda exclaimed inwardly.

Such a crappy deal yet he still accepted it like it was a glorious deal.

Griselda faked a cough and nodded her head. "Fine, but let me remind you. Whatever you see or hear, everything must be kept a secret. Otherwise, there\'ll be no place left for you."

"Thank you, Griselda." Tie Longkun thanked her wholeheartedly.

Sometime later, Griselda sent him a party invitation, and Tie Longkun was successfully added to their party.

"Listen Tie Longkun, the chancellor is the commander of this, so no matter what, you must oblige to his words and must not act rashly," Griselda warned him sternly.

As much as she liked to tease Lei Zhen for his boring personality, now that someone else had been added to the party, she had turned completely serious.

Not to mention, she knew he still wished to remain anonymous for as long as possible, so unless necessary, she would not reveal his identity.

That was the so-called basic trust one must have when forming a party or team.

And with that said, Lei Zhen made the first step ahead with the imperial guards opening the path for him to enter, followed by Griselda and Tie Longkun.

"Don\'t let your guard down and prepare to fight at any moment." Lei Zhen warned as he activated Omnivision.
